The media has been reaching out and asked Eain the following question and his answer here:

Interviewer:

Hello!
Thank you for taking the time to answer some questions. I had some questions for Eain. I was wondering how you started paramedical tattooing and how you knew it was something you wanted to do. Also, what is day to day like in your realm of work? Thank you again.

Eains reply:

I appreciate your interest and I’m glad to share my journey with you.

Paramedical tattooing became my calling after a life-changing experience. Years ago, I found myself in the ICU after a major motorcycle accident, leaving me with profound scars. It was there that I met my wife, who happened to be the nurse to initiate life saving practices as I coded and continued to remain one of the nurses caring for me throughout my hospital stay. She not only tended to my physical wounds but also became an integral part of my emotional healing process.

As we got to know each other, we shared stories about the scars we both carried—hers from battles with cancer, the trauma of abuse, and the loss of loved ones. One poignant memory she shared was about her grandmother, who battled breast cancer and underwent a total mastectomy. Before her passing, she confided in my wife, expressing how she no longer felt like a woman after the surgery.

Through these conversations, we realized the immense emotional impact that physical scars and alterations can have on an individual’s sense of identity and self-worth. My wife’s background in nursing, combined with our shared experiences, illuminated the great need for medical tattooing that goes beyond aesthetics.

In our day-to-day work, we strive to provide not just a service, but a source of empowerment and healing for those who have undergone medical procedures or traumas that have altered their appearance. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, helping them reclaim their sense of self and confidence.

Thank you for reaching out and allowing me to share a bit of our story. I hope this helps.
